Discovering Jana Coffee: A Gem in Nairobi's Othaya Rd

Last Saturday, I decided to explore one of Nairobi's hidden gems, Jana Coffee, located on Othaya Rd. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and the delightful chatter of customers enjoying their brews. I visited around 10 AM, just in time for a delightful breakfast experience.

I couldn't resist ordering their fresh pomegranate juice, priced at just Ksh 200. It arrived in a beautifully crafted glass, bursting with rich flavor that left me wanting more. The freshness was evident, making it the perfect start to my day of coffee indulgence. The vibrant color was appealing, and I had to take a picture to capture the moment:

After that refreshing start, I moved on to a classic latte. It was crafted to perfection, with a creamy texture and a balanced shot of espresso that wasn't too bitter. The baristas clearly know their craft, and I appreciated the artistry that went into my cup. I watched as they meticulously poured my drink, creating a lovely latte art that made my day just a bit brighter.

While savoring my latte, I couldn’t help but notice how friendly and attentive the staff were. One attendant, in particular, named Sammy, deserves a special shoutout. He was not only knowledgeable about the various coffee blends but also made excellent recommendations, enhancing my overall experience.

Looking for something a little more substantial, I reached for the assorted deli items, which I found to be an excellent choice for a light meal. Priced at Ksh 200, it offered a delightful variety that complemented my coffee perfectly. The combination of flavors was both satisfying and indulgent, a great value for the money spent.

For those planning an event, Jana Coffee also offers a coffee gardens & event space for Ksh 1000. It looks like an ideal venue for small gatherings or celebrations, adding another reason to return.

As I enjoyed my coffee, I noticed the ambiance of the shop was just as inviting as the treats they served. It was a combination of relaxing music and comfortable seating that made it easy to linger a little longer!

If you're in Nairobi and looking for a quality coffee experience, I highly recommend stopping by Jana Coffee. Their commitment to sourcing and roasting Africa's finest coffees is evident in every sip. Whether you're grabbing a quick drink or planning to spend a leisurely morning, this coffee shop will not disappoint. I left feeling both satisfied and eager to return, making it a fantastic addition to Nairobi's vibrant coffee scene.
